On this page you can see some pictures of both text and used material from the Hobbit project. I used five plain handmade books, probably from India, using only about half of the fifth one.

For the writing I made use of Papermate black ink ballpoint pens (medium); for the chapter titles I used a Parker red ink ballpoint pen (medium). I used maybe 20 Papermates, not for running out of ink but because after a while they all tended to start annoyingly smearing, probably due to some chemical (or organic) substance used in the production of the paper. Luckily the paper was transparent enough for a ruling sheet to be used.
